ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Thomas Jing Centre for Mindfulness Research and Training is now an Affiliated Organisation of Oxford Mindfulness (OMF). This programme provides an equivalent trainee experience (vs direct Oxford Mindfulness delivery) to all trainees on any activity using the Oxford Mindfulness name and curriculum.
The curricula, Mindfulness for Life (sometimes known as MBCT-L) Teacher Training Programme offers you the opportunity to develop your skills, competencies and confidence to teach mindfulness in a variety of different settings, such as workplaces, education, and the general population. At the end of the training, and if you’ve participated fully and been assessed as having reached the ‘advanced beginner’ level of teaching, apart from the certificate from CUHK, you’ll also receive a letter confirming your readiness to teach under supervision.
After successfully teaching 2 courses under supervision, you can then apply for your Trained Teacher Certificate from OMF.
